After 15 years of tanning experience and executing over 10,000 tans she decided to launch her own tanning empire. I recommend to apply it to the face maybe ONCE a week, your face always needs to be lighter than your body anyways, especially if you wear makeup.Handy tips for the perfect wedding day tan like Poppy DelevingneĪmanda started her career as a makeup and body artist, sculpting and transforming bodies by painting and contouring on film sets and editorial shoots. but unfortunately I cannot lay right now so I looked towards this self tanner and I will admit, I am in love!! it leaves me speechless, not only does it apply smoothly but it doesn't leave streaks, AND it smells wonderful and it dries in like 30 seconds and does NOT stain clothes! it is not sticky either! I would highly recommend, and if you're the type of girl I am & just have to be DARK, my advise is to apply more than once, I actually shower of the mornings and p ut it on and let it stay on me until the next day (because the longer you leave it on, the longer it lasts) yesterday and today, I have applied 4 times, once every 6 hours (twice a day) and I am loving how dark I am! not only that but I have a feeling I won't be applying again for awhile because not much came off of me in the shower, so I would definitely recommend and if you love your dark skin like me, I would take my advise, just be careful and don't put too much in one spot, make sure to rub it all in! be careful around the feet and hands, and if you try to tan your face, don't apply a lot because it will leave your face orange. I'm the type of person who LOVES tan skin. I had never used a self tanner before until recently, I had used a Snooki brand which was sticky and washed off the next day and left horrible streaks and was just AWFUL and then I tried this brand because everyone said it was the best and now that I've tried it, I do agree completely. So I've used & have purchased almost every kind, from the most expensive to one's from Walmart! From Sally Hansen to Guerlain! But sadly I have to say, Fake Bake is the worst sunless tanner that I've ever tried! I always shave & exfoliate first, then I followed the direction's verbatim & I was very excited that they include the gloves & mit for your hand's! But the product applies like stain, it doesn't spread evenly because the glove soaks up the product before you can spread it from your ankle to your knee! So you have patches everywhere, from where you first touch your skin to wherever you end! Then if you go back over the lighter spots to try and even it out, it turns darker than the rest of your skin, so you continuously have patches everywhere! But if you get wet or shower the next morning, it almost completely washes off, except for the places that you originally started & it leaves light patches that makes you look like you have a skin disease or something! So you have to shave and exfoliate at least 2 or 3 days before it finally All goes away! So NO, I DON'T RECOMMEND IT and I only purchased it because of the eBay ratings for it! I ordered 2 bottles and tried both, so unless I just received an old or bad batch of it, I don't know? But for the same money, Sally Hansen's airbrush sunless mousse tanner is 1000 times better and I'LL NEVER PURCHASE FAKE BAKE EVER AGAIN!! Read full review I live in FL & I have fair skin, so I always use a sunless tanner before going to the beach or even before wearing short's.
